Leadership Award Recipient
Anthony Williams, SVP & Chief Information Officer, SCA Health
Anthony joined SCA Health as CIO in November 2018. As the senior technology executive, he is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s technology vision to support high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and long-term growth. He leads enterprise IT strategy, cybersecurity, digital transformation, data, cloud and other technology operations across SCA. He also ensures that technology investments are aligned with business priorities, compliant with healthcare regulations, and designed to improve clinical outcomes, physician satisfaction, and organizational efficiency.
SCA Health, headquartered in Chicago, operates over 370 care sites across 35 states and performs more than 1.7 million procedures annually. SCA also has corporate locations and operations in Dallas, Indianapolis, Birmingham, and India.
Prior to joining SCA, Anthony served as the CIO at American Family Care, one of the largest urgent care providers in the US with over 400 locations.
With over thirty years of experience in Information Technology spanning multiple industries, Anthony brings valuable expertise to his field. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and holds an MBA from Auburn University.
Anthony lives in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife Errica and daughter Sydni, and has two adult sons (Jalen and Gavin) and a daughter-in-law (Bella).
